Description
First of all, a huge thanks to Jace1969 for the work he did on this helmet. I did try to print it out and had serious issues on our printers due to the limited bed size so I came up with two options - one is scaled down to 87 percent and the other is full size with the main helmet body is quartered with dowel connectors.
I've had to upload each plate separately due to failures from exceeding the allowed time, sorry for the inconvenience. I'm also increasing the layer height on the 87 percent helmet body to 0.2mm in order to meet time constraints, mine was printed with .12 layers like the rest of the plates.
Other work I've done is removing the front vent for better printing, fixing the side grilles, assembling the side tubes, reticle and faceplate, adding screws and embellishments to the faceplate, back hose housing, side grilles and more. I reworked the lamp to have a removable lens and created a vault boy lens similar to the mod in Fallout 76. The headlamp is hollow so you can add lighting if you want (possibly drill a hole through the helmet, etc).
In the end, it's been a lot of work and it's a long print but definitely worth it. I will include the original assembled helmet in the file section as well.
