mini ratcheting screwdriver build around a standart (Bosch) Bit extender, which is therefore pretty sturdy and allows ergonomic small space handling!
Works with PLA but use preferably PETG and ABS.

Mk2 Version is out!:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/413072
it adds a two way ratchet system! It doest compleatly replace the old version as the old design is slightly simpler to print, but nearly every modern printer should be compatible with Mk2

If there is enough interest I might make a bigger version too! :)

NEW: I also made a fidget toy based on the ratchet mechanism:
https://makerworld.com/en/models/409755

Features

  • Rachets while screwing in (and out as in different Versions)
  • * A wheel to grab for locking the driver (better print both versions to use one driver for tightening and one for loosening)
  • As small as possible while accomodating the bit extender as a sturdy core piece
  • A ergonomic compact handle design to reach into small spaces
  • Fits almost any commen drill bit
  • Adjustable: Depending how deep you pressfit the Bit extender you can adjust the drivers length and shape (~20mm length increase possible if needed)
  • Adaptive: Also through the rachet it can freely rotate in one direction but not in the other direction. (But you can stop that by gripping the wheel)

You need: A most standart  bit extenders from most drills work!

Printing Orientation

  • print with no supports and the rachet facing down
  • Use a brim if needed but only on the outside!

Press the Bitextender in from the front. This extender is securely held in by friction!

I Hope you like it!

Happy printing!
