5 tier Jacob's ladder with ribbon

Paying homage to my Grandfather, he made me a wood version.

You can make it any length you want

You will need,

• superglue
• 4 small cardboard pieces, used as spacers
• 10 tiles for 5 tier ladder
• 3/8" or 10mm craft ribbon, 3M/9.8' - you will not used the whole roll, cut 3 strips 2.5 feet long, you will needlonger ribbon for longer ladder

- Print 10 tiles and cut out cardboard

- Lay out first tile like picture, 1 ribbon on one end, 2 on the other. Space out evenly

- glue and add a tile, hold down a few seconds, then add cardboard on top

- fold over the three ribbons like in picture and place a new tile on top

- pull the extra ribbon tight, fold over again each way and glue the 3 ribbons down to the tile, then add the top tile to sandwich the glue and ribbon together

- repeat by adding cardboard on top of the tile

- fold ribbon over and place a new tile on top

- fold ribbon over, pull tight and glue down, then glue another tile to sandwich the ribbon

Continue 3 more times to make 5 tier or keep going to make a long version
