Dog Poop Bag Holder (with Bag Rewind function)

(Yet another) Dog Poop Bag Holder.

I made this model (a remix of another model) because i just couldn't find an existing model that met all my needs, even though there are heaps of variations out there. since then i have added a heap of modifications that make it the most advanced dog poo bag holder in the world! Hope you like it.

PETG, ABS or PC filament is recommended for the extra flex & strength (because you know, dogs) but other filaments such as PLA also work fine but will be more breakable.

In particular the features of my model that make it better/different are;

• the base part has a clip to hold it to your lead, stops the holder swinging all over the place
• a hole in the lid for a key cable to stop the lid getting loose & lost
• the finger hole/bag dispensing slot is nice and wide, making it easier to get your finger in and bags out
• an inside spindle to better support the bags
• NEW ‘Print in Place’ BAG REWINDER mechanism.

NEW Version 15: released 6/Jun/25

The ‘spikes’ that help the rewind function to work were prone to snapping off and did not support loose bags very well when the spool gets low. The newer updated version replaces these spikes with curves that better hold any loose bags and are less prone to breaking.  

Also NEW:  Remix Model added, designed for ROUND/ROPE style leads (11mm-13mm) instead of flat style leads . 

• Note: Recommend a few drops of PTFE Lubricant (see last pic) into the moving spaces (rewinder mechanism and sliding lock mechanism) makes everything work much smoother.
