Pot or Vase - There are two options that work with the included “dirt" disk, either a traditional pot or modern vase.
Simple Assembly, Infinite Possibilities: At the heart of Fil-a-wer lies a simple piece of filament, transformed into the stem of your flower. The set includes 3 distinct flower center designs and 4 types of petals, all designed to fit seamlessly together. Enjoy endless arrangements, creating a display that is uniquely yours.
Assembly
We hope you'll find the assembly process straightforward and enjoyable. Here are some tips to help you get started:
Print the Pot and "Dirt": Begin by printing the pot and "dirt" in your chosen colors. Each piece of "dirt" has 5 holes for threading filament through, allowing you the flexibility to choose as many flowers as you wish to create.
Select and Print Your Flowers: Next, select and print any mix of flowers you'd like. If you prefer not to print all of them at once, simply remove the ones you don't want from the build plate before printing.
Prepare the Filament: Cut your filament to the desired lengths, according to how many flowers you plan to add to your pot.
Assemble the Flowers: Add as many petals as you like to each flower center. Then, thread the filament through the bottom of the flower center, creating the stem.
Plant Your Flowers: Finally, insert the filament stems into the "soil" to secure your flowers in the pot. Now, your Fil-a-wer is ready to be displayed and admired by friends and family!
To keep all the components neatly inside the pot, especially if you're planning to gift or transport your Fil-a-wer, you can place the "dirt" piece on top of the assembled flowers and secure it with tape. We recommend using painter's tape or any low-tack adhesive tape. These types of tape are gentle enough to hold everything in place without leaving residue or damaging the pieces when you remove the tape. This simple step ensures your Fil-a-wer stays together until you're ready to set it up or give it away.
