IMPORTANT: You will need a pair of needle nose pliers for support removal. You will also need a bit of patience.

This is the Fortnite Slurpfish optimized for FDM Printing!

I have uploaded a print profile for a multicolor version that makes 8 fish, or a single color version that makes 1. Unlike the flopper I made, this model has significantly more waste. I tried splitting the model into multiple parts, but it would ruin a lot of detail and really didn't save that much filament. With 8 models on the plate, only about 28 grams per model is used, which isn't terrible. I had no issues printing 8 at once, however I highly reccomend extra bed adhesion, like a glue stick or magigoo, just to be safe, as a print failure would be a huge waste. The model prints in two parts, and shouldn't need any glue as the lower fin should press fit into place. The reason for this is that this part created supports that were impossible to remove without breaking the model.

For support removal, be sure to take your time. A good pair of pliers works wonders for this, so make sure you have one. If you are worried, you can print the single color first and test it out. Be especially careful with the top fins, as they are very thin and can break easily. I did lose a little piece of the fin on some of the prints, but it is hardly noticeable.

I've included the raw files for the slurpfish as well. If you are going to use these, please consult my uploaded 3mf files to see the support blockers I used.

For my model, I used the following filaments:

Protopasta Joels Highfive Blue for upper body

Polymaker Polylite PLA Stone Blue for lower body

Hatchbox White PLA for eyes

Hatchbox Black PLA for pupils
