🌵 Cactus RGB LED Lamp – 12V Light with IR Remote

A decorative cactus-shaped lamp designed for use with a 12V RGB LED strip and IR remote controller. This project is easy to print, easy to assemble, and makes a colorful addition to any desk, shelf, or wall.

🛒 Recommended Components

  • LED Strip: Black PCB 5050 SMD RGB LED Strip, 5M, DC12V
  • IR Controller: RGB LED IR remote controller (DC12V, compatible with 5050)
  • Power Supply: 12V DC adapter (1A or more)

🛠️ Assembly Instructions

  1. Print the cactus base, lid, and cactus pot parts (PLA, 0.2mm, 15–30% infill, no supports).
  2. Apply the LED strip along the inside edge of the cactus base, following the full outline.
  3. Insert the cactus lid into the base to close the LED channel.
  4. Place the IR controller into the cactus pot and connect it to the LED strip wires.
  5. Attach the cactus pot lid.
  6. Glue the cactus base to the pot to create a single, solid piece.
  7. Connect to a 12V power source and use the remote to change colors and effects.
