Here's my take on the Arkham Batarang.

This does fold and uses internal magnets to hold the model in the open or folded positions. You will need 6x 8mm diameter by 4mm deep magnets. This model also uses super glue to hold it together so be prepared for that.

To reduce waste and speed up printing time this prints on two plates, plate one is the black parts with the silver highlights only. Plate two is just the blades.

Assembly instructions -

I suggest marking your magnets with a sharpie as the magnet orientation is vital. I put ther magnets in a stck and write a black dot on each one.

Clip on part one of the silver blade and insert 4 magnets into the right hand lower black part with the black dots on the magnets facing up.These will need glueing in place. add glue to holes then put the magnets in.

Add the second silver blade part.
Add a few small dots of CA glue to the black base and clip on the top black part. This is designed to be a tight fit and will need pressing fimly into place. Hold the two halves together for a short while to let the glue set.
So you should now have one part that looks like this.
repeat the process with the other side. Though this only takes 2 magnets and the black dots need to face down. These will need glueing in place. add glue to holes then put the magnets in.
As before add the silver blades then glue the two black halves together
Get the half with the pentagonal hole, NOT THE CIRCULAR HOLE and glue on the small cap with the SHORT BAR ON THE TOP
So it looks like this.
Turn the part over you just finished, add more CA glue to the pentagonal hole BEING VERY CAREFUL TO ONLY APPLY GLUE IN THE HOLE, NOT ON THE SURROUNDG PART. Then position both parts like this.
Add the final plud with the bat logo on and the LONG Bar, This needs to fit into the pentagonal hole with the glue you just prepared. hold it firmly together until the glue sets.
All done! Enjoy!
