Description

This clock takes advantage of the purge your bambu printer spits out to color the numbers!

Each number has a separate compartment, so you can fill each with a singe color or throw in what you've already got.

There are also other creative ways to use it, such as displaying photos!

Info:

-The size of the hole for the clock motor is 10mm diameter and 5mm depth.

Materials needed:

[1] Clock motor/hands (Max minute hand length: 100mm, I simply snipped mine down to size)

[4] m4x6 screws

Double-sided tape

Glue

Plastic/acrylic (to put inside numbers to stop filament purges from falling out)

Assembly instructions:

-Use double-sided tape to attach clock motor to the back of the faceplate, making sure that the piece that holds the hands goes through the center of the motor hole.

-Fit the clock hands onto the motor. Do this now, because it will be harder once the purges are placed in their compartments.

-Place in the battery and set the clock for the correct time.

-Place the pieces of plastic/acrylic into each of the numbers' compartments.

-Place your selected purges into each compartment, making sure not to over-fill them.

-Slide backplate into each of the four compartments. The backplate only fits in one direction.

-Use the m4 screws to lock thebackplate in. (The holes are made to be slightly bigger than the screws, so that the screws act more like pins that slide in to hold the backplate for easier removal.

-Flip the clock over, and glue the faceplate ring into place.

Hang up and enjoy :)
