The 3 in 1 Ultimate Spool Adapter!
New features in the 3 in 1:
- The 3 in 1 can now be used either as a small spool adapter for respooling, OR to use with Bambu spools! It can do it all!:
- The 3 in 1 features a dual spacer, ensuring that small spools are centered on the adapter:
- The respool adapter of the 3 in 1 now includes a compartment to hold silica beads, adding weight and keeping the filament dry
- The 3 in 1 features a notch for the Bambu refills.
- Now with a filament cost-effective print profile: 37% less filament usage compared to the "Speed lines" design.
Differences from the “AMS adapter of respool”:
- The center is smaller on all print profiles, allowing spools with a diameter of 32mm or more to fit inside.
- All parts are detachable, making replacement of a part more filament cost-effective: you only have to reprint the broken/lost part.
- All parts are screwable and hold onto each other, making assembly easier.
- Wheels on both sides are now the same.
- Respool adapter features a notch for the Bambu refills.
I spent many hours designing and testing the model, if you like it consider giving it a boost. 😉
Recommended settings:
- 0.12mm layer height recommended, with a minimum of 0.15 (more than that and the threads MIGHT NOT FIT).
- Use a brim for the "screw part".
- Include at least 4 bottom/top layers and 4 walls.
- Although it works, I suggest using something stronger than PLA for the "Low filament wheels", as it is a bit thin."
