Tape Holder - Dispenser - Hand Mounted

This is a hand mounted tape dispenser for easy gift rapping poster hanging, etc.

Printed in 2 main parts:

• The base: no special printing considerations here. Suggest that you use PETG as it is more flexible then PLA although it should work with PLA as well.

• The cutter which should be printed separately in the orientation shown:

• This is printed in different orientation as to have sharper edges for tape cutting. Having sharp edges made out of plastic is a challenge for this application. this strategy gave the best results. Print slowly (supports are required) and with perimeter edges set at .30mm in the slicer. This should turn out well with a .40 nozzle. Layer height .2 or even .15

Once everything is printed. insert the cutter into the base as shown:

Depending on the size of your hand, the tape holder could be placed in this position:

This tape rounting element is present in the eventuality that the cutter is not as sharp and has difficulty cutting the tape in its normal position. Is should provide a sharper angle and hopefully assist with better cutting:
