Sonic - Classic - MMU

MMU version of Sonic - Classic

Sonic is a blue hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds and curl into a ball to attack enemies. He races through levels, collecting power-up rings and avoiding obstacles, as he seeks to defeat the mad scientist Doctor Eggman.

The model, as presented is 80mm tall.

This MMU model was derived from my non-MMU model (reworked for a clean MMU print).

Print instructions

Important: I used six colors for this print

I've included a Prusa Slicer 3MF file that I used for this print.  I paused the print after the red finished and swapped  in the black to get the six colors. 

Individual STL parts are also included for other slicers.  The order of the parts in the slicer should be in the same order as the parts are numbered to achieve the best depth of color.

Extra note: If you only have a four color multimaterial printer, after the red finishes swap in the skin color and assign blue to the black parts.  This will give you five colors but should still look nice.

Be sure to check/set the purge amounts for the colors based on your filament brand.
