Modular Color Fan Hinge - Swatch Board Display

Filament Swatch Fan Hinge model compatible with all size of Swatchinity boards (Snap-in Swatch Display Board).

Installation

1. Front board

2. Middle boards

You will need a number of spacers equal to the number of boards minus 2 (front & back).

Please note, the spacers have a raised circle unlike the optional hanging swatches.

3. Back board

In the final assembly the back board will be mounted in reverse from the others. 

So be careful to install the bottom hinge swatch in a mirrored position relative to the others.

4. Optional - Hanging holes

You can optionally add hanging hole swatches on the boards. 1 per board.
 

5. Hinge Assembly

Choose the right hinge shaft size for the number of boards you have.

• Insert the shaft inside the back board. Be careful, the back board must be upside down from the other boards.
• Insert all the middle boards on the shaft.
• Insert the top board inside the shaft.
• Turn the whole color fan upside down.
• Pick a filament swatch and use it as a screwdriver to lock the hinge

Since Bambu Lab Tough PLA has been discontinued, I have removed all those swatches (10 in total) from the color fan.

That leaves us with 70 swatches. Here is how I have sorted the remaining swatches. Of course you are free to arrange them how it pleases you
