Peg Basket v3

This Peg Containment System (PCS) represents the pinnacle of advanced technology.

Features:

• Peg insertion mode using a physics based gravitronics (patent rejected) to pull pegs down into the PCS once released from your fingers
• It has not 1, but 4 Wave Absorption Layer Limiters (WALLs) that constantly repel any attempts by the pegs to escape containment.
• Peg extraction mode which cleverly uses energy exerted from body movement (your fingers) to remove pegs from containment.

Early 2025 Enhanced Features:

Completely redesigned hinge mechanism which provides:

• Increased hinge wall thickness for better strength
• Increased hinge radius for better handle strength
• Improved snap lock tolerance to ensure a snug fit that no longer falls out when not under tension
• Improved handle turn radius for 180 degree movement.  Can now move handle out of the way when basket is on a solid surface

• New round hook handle

Yes, that is right: It's just a peg basket.

Designed to fit in a 256x256 bed. It's pretty big as far as peg baskets go. A1 mini users might be out of luck (perhaps peg basket ornaments are a thing?)

Print Instructions:

There's now multiple versions of the basket to choose from:

Plate1:  Original basket as shown (recommended)

Plate2:  Original handle with hook (recommended)

Plate3:  Optional alternate basket with smaller holes for less bridging.   Use if your material doesn't bridge well (or if you like it better, I won't judge)

Plate4:  Original handle without hook (for those people who come prepared with their own hooks)

Plate5:  Original handle with round hook (for those who like their hook like their fictional Captains from Peter Pan)

Basket should print with no supports.  A few minor supports required for the handle.
