TORNADO self watering planter

Design

The TORNADO planter is a self watering one, that allows the plant to take as much water form the tray as it needs. The design has in the bottom part if the tornado four holes for drainage and self waterting process. The dust part is designed as a tray, where the water collects and can be used in time by the plant. You can scale the planter as much as you want, but make sure to have a solid base of the tornado, else it will break.

Utility

I recommend to place a piece of wool in the bottom part of the tornado, so it can drain only the water, and the soil will remain in the planter. The plant will stay hydrated thanks to the water from the tray, for a long time.

Filament

The filament I used is Polymaker PolyTerra PLA Charcoal Black

Hope you like my design and if so, you can like, share and maybe boost the post so it can reach more people and also help me through my adventure of designing and printing more objects like this. Stay creative!
