Story and motivation
For most children there is nothing better than playing with water and sand, whether in the playground or on the beach. But every parent knows the problem: all the sand toys take up a lot of space, it feels like every child has the same set, and most of the products on sale are not particularly durable.
Then last year I came across the Sandy Fun Kit. I liked the idea of having all the important toys in one compact set and created a remix and added additional tools. Since then, I've easily printed 10 sets for my two children and the children of friends. This has led to a lot of feedback about issues and suggestions.
So I started completely from scratch to address everything. And herewith I present the beach essentials for kids as a compact all-in-one set.
What's included?
Watering can with a perfect-sized handle for children's hands
Bucket which can also be used to build castles and bridges/tunnels (inspired by Sand Castle Gate)
Four different tools: shovel, rake, ice scoop, and sieve
Two moulds: duck and shell (you can use also other ones, see Good to know)
Cover that clips into the watering can and holds everything in place (even overhead)

How to assamble?
It was also important to me that everything could be easily reassembled. With the Sandy Fun Kit, this is a bit tricky and requires at least two hands. Now it's very easy with just one hand:

Good to know
Does your child want different sand moulds? Simply take one of the countless models available, scale the X and Y axes so that it fits on the bottom of the watering can and scale the Z axis to 25 mm (important!). It is also possible to stack multiple into each other, if the shapes of the moulds allow it (you must scale them accordingly).
The hex pattern of the cover is an infill pattern. You can change it to whatever you prefer or print it solid.
You have already printed my remix of the Sandy Fun Kit and don't want to reprint everything just for the watering can? The old bucket (and all the contents) fit into the new watering can. So just print it and its handle.
You want to personalize it with the name of your child? I used Bambu Studio to emboss (2 layers → 0.4 mm) the name of my kids to the bottom of each part and printed it in a different color (requires just 2 filament swaps).
I will gladly accept suggestions for improvements and possible additions.
Print recommendations
Considering the intended use and the somewhat rough handling by children, I recommend using PETG and six walls as well as a relatively high infill (>= 25%). I have designed all parts so that no supports are necessary.
