Description

Building on the work of Evo 3D and JeffA, this is (what I feel to be) the ultimate Amiga / Commodore Amiga Tank Mouse (1352) build with custom scroll wheel, to suit the Bambu Wireless Mouse Components Kit 002.

Based on the classic Commodore / Commodore Amiga Tank Mouse (1352), this wireless mouse shell offers a genuine retro feel for your computer, and includes a custom scroll wheel and DPI button.

Set on two plates to allow you to create your own shell / button colour combination. I used Bambu PLA Basic Beige for the shell, and Bambu PLA Basic Blue Grey for the buttons to create a retro feel.

The buttons push on to the spring plate (all on the second plate) with the highest points facing outwards, and can optionally be secured with a drop of glue. The DPI button simply pushes into the slot on the spring plate.

The custom scroll wheel has a lovely knurled finish, and allows you to have a fully colour matched button set. To install it, simply carefully remove the rubber part of the wheel that comes with the mouse kit, and carefully push on this replacement part.

Assemble the buttons into the top shell - if you're like me and like the buttons to be fixed, you can optionally screw in a M3 x 8 screw to hold the spring plate to the top shell.

Assembly of the rest of the mouse is in line with the official kit instructions:
