Introducing the Mobile Exo-Suit: Your Phone's Ultimate Armor

The Mobile Exo-Suit is a 3D printed phone stand that brings bold design and sci-fi aesthetics to your workspace. Built around a stable core structure and enhanced with armor-style parts, it supports phones from 70mm to 95mm wide.

The design allows for partial or full builds depending on your preference — print just the main body, or add the armor shell for a more detailed finish. The built-in hand shapes also serve as cable holders when the phone isn’t docked, helping keep your desk tidy.

Whether you use it as a practical stand, a conversation piece, or a collectible accessory, the Mobile Exo-Suit offers a clean and efficient print with zero supports required — just print and place your phone in its new mech-inspired home.

No paint, no supports and no glue needed.

Printing Instructions

Easy to print, fully supportless, and optimized for straightforward assembly — this project offers a fun build experience without post-processing. Below are some detailed tips and color groupings to help you get the most out of your print.

Files in STL format to print without any support or brim and already in the best orientation.
Recommended layer height: 0.2mm.

Files to print organized by color:

Prusament PLA Blend Viva La Bronze

  • Body-v2.stl
  • Arms-v2.stl
  • Legs-v2.stl

Prusament PLA Prusa Galaxy Black

  • Armor.stl

Individual files and a tolerance test also included

Tips

  • The body needs good bridges and a good first layer to print well.
  • Print the legs for strength, increase walls and infill.
  • Put the armor before joining the arms and legs to the body, don't mix left and right parts.
  • On the forearm armor, put the elbow first

Bed adhesion problems?

  • Disable the Elephant foot compensation setting it to 0, as the model already has it.
  • To put brim on everything is really annoying to remove later. This technique allows you to put it only on critical parts and in an easy way to remove later:
    • Right click on the model and select “Add part>cilinder”
    • Scale it to 0.2mm heigth, edit only the height and click on “drop to bed” to make it flat in the bed
    • Now drag it to under the hand for example and you're done. Repeat the process to any pat that you want an extra adhesion. You can use and scale shapes as your needs.
