Norfolk Southern toy train BRIO / IKEA compatible

Norfolk Southern diesel locomotive toy train (BRIO / IKEA compatible). This is the older model with 2 types of screws - the newer ones are far better designed and use only 1 type of screws for everything (check the link to my premium toy trains below).

You will need the following screws to put everything together.
10x ISO 14585 (DIN7981) 2.9mm x 13mm
2x ISO 14585 (DIN7981) 2.9mm x 19mm

Get the screws directly from Bambu Lab Maker's Supply - check the purchase link for Bill of Materials - scroll all the way down!

Add ring magnets on each side of the train. Use 2x ISO 14585 (DIN7981) 2.9mm x 13mm screws a plastic washer and small neodymium ring magnets diameter 10mm outer / 4mm inner with height of 5mm.

The GCODE of "train_body_norfolk..." contains 2 filament color changes at 0.92mm (Layer 7) and 1.87mm (Layer 16) and the support enforcer. Use a small paint brush with acrylic white and paint on the windows and text.

Add support enforcer for the roof! See image above where to put it.

The GCODE of "train_body_norfolk..." contains 2 filament color changes at 0.92mm (Layer 7) and 1.87mm (Layer 16) and the support enforcer. Printed with Prusament PLA Galaxy Black and Vanilla White. I used the standard Preset "0.2mm QUALITY MK3" in Prusa Slicer.
In case you use modified settings than turn "OFF" thin wall detection in Prusa Slicer or the lettering on the train body will not be sliced correctly.
