IKEA Kallax Furniture Foot

I’ve crafted a set of furniture feet, initially designed for my IKEA Kallax shelves, but they’re versatile enough to be used with any furniture. The design draws significant inspiration from mrusk’s Kallax foot, but I’ve entirely reconstructed it using Fusion 360.

These feet are available in a variety of heights, ranging from 4 to 18cm, and feature multiple mounting points to accommodate different installation scenarios. However, depending on the specific scenario, the screw holes of the foot might conflict with the furniture’s screws. In such cases, you may need to recess or reposition the foot, or utilize alternative mounting points.

Please note that the Kallax shelf is primarily composed of paper and air, so some screws might not provide sufficient grip. Exercise caution during installation to ensure stability and safety. When affixing the feet to a Kallax shelf that’s positioned horizontally, you may need to incorporate some washers. This is because the side panels and the top/bottom panels don’t align perfectly, creating a need for additional hardware to ensure a secure and level installation.

Use M4 wood countersunk screws for installation.

Update

01.07.2026: I added a center support foot in all sizes for wide Kallax shelves that need extra stability. The foot features three mounting flaps to ensure a symmetrical appearance and maximum strength.
