Description

You will need a free account with Onshape to be able to customize the file.

 

The following are the main variables that are editable:

TagExtraLength - Padding and can be used if the text goes past the tag with letters like y.

TagWidth - How wide the tag is.

MagnetThickness - How thick your magnet is. Recommended to add .2mm or so.

MagnetSize - How big around your magnet is. Recommended to add .2mm/.3mm or so.

 

To change the text itself and font, double-click NameText and then right click on the name itself to get the option to edit the name.

 

You can export the parts by right clicking on the part and clicking export.

Print Tips:

You will need to insert a pause command at the top of the hole for the magnets so it will pause allowing you to insert magnets and then resume embedding them inside the print. If you are going to use the backing piece make sure the polarity of the magnets are all the same direction or else the backing plate may not attach properly.
