Ferrari Scooter Basket

My kids have these Ferrari scooters that were a big hit about 4 years ago and they like it really much, however relatives came over with some scooters the other day that had baskets on them and they liked the idea to be able to stash a ton of rocks and whatnot in the scooter basket when they roam the streets in the neighborhood. So naturally I thought, why not make them one that fits their scooter.

Thus the Ferrari scooter basket was born.

Features:
- It can be mounted with 2 x M4x20mm screws +2 x M4 nuts without having to disassemble the scooter
- There are 2 holes on the bottom of the basket to make sure water can drain from it in case it is left out during rain

Additional tips and tricks:
- I found that the mount was not strong enough and the baskets rotated on the pole and I was afraid that it may break if I tighten it too much, so I designed an additional slide proof insert that you can print in TPU. Even though TPU would fuse very well with both PETG and ASA during printing, I did not want to have a lot of waste so I rather printed is separately. You can glue these on after it is ready, the glue only needs to be strong enough to withstand one insertion and then it will never move again (easily). I just used some shoe glue that I had lying around. (you can see the blue TPU insert on the red basket distinctly)
- Advised to print it in outdoor filaments like ASA or PETG unless you have an indoor ring they use it on :). The Blue one on the pictures is ASA and the red one is PETG. These are outside all the time and there is not any issue with any of them.
- The hole for the M4 nuts might not be always perfect, but I heat set them in anyway so it is advised that you do as well (just hold it with a tweezer and heat with a lighter then push it in the plastic with a pliers.
- Use the provided standard supports for the basket. Tree supports don't work very well.

Kids love it, no complaints there. Since then when riding they don't have to hold all the garbage in their hand that they collect so less accidents happen :D
