Description
07.24.24 Update: I am unhappy with this design, as it has loosened up over time due to rapid heating and cooling, and its no longer a snug fit. I will keep it on here in case anyone has improvements they could make to it, but for the time being it looks like its only going to work for a few weeks. Sorry about that, this is a tough cookie to crack. I'll ponder this and see if I can't make it better somehow. In the meantime; Users can mitigate this issue but applying a layer of electrical tape on the inside of the print for a tighter fit.
09.04.24 Update: Apologies all but I have sold this laptop and will not be updating this model. I would prefer to simply take the model down as it needs to be tweaked but i'll keep it up if anyone would like to use it as a reference or update it themselves. License has been updated to Creative Commons Public Domain. Best of luck all.

A snap-fit riser designed specifically for the 2022 ROG Zephyrus G14 Laptop, however it may be compatible with the other Zephyrus laptops as I believe they all share the same body style. This print will help mitigate overheating due to the nature of this CPU and chassis.
This riser does not need to be placed directly underneath the laptop each time you use it like other options. Feel free to snap it on and forget about it. Throw it in your backpack, pick it up and set it somewhere else, and you'll have the same airflow improvement.
You should notice immediate improvements to performance due to the increased space in between the chassis and the platform its sitting on. I don't have specific cooling metrics on hand, but it definitely runs much cooler and the fan speed is lower.
Print this using the profile uploaded, or be sure to separate the bodies so it is easier to print.
Riser requires no special material, no special settings, and no supports.
I went through about 11 different prototypes before I was satisfied with this. I'm sure there are other improvements I could make, but it gets the job done just fine.
I hope this is useful to anyone who also struggles to keep their Zephyrus cool. If you wanna buy me a beer, feel free: Venmo- @Jacob-Schnetzer
LMK if there are any compatibility issues with the different models, and let me know how it works for you. Thanks!
