Description
The V2 version of my upcycled tattoo machine is a bit lower than the last one for better weight distribution bit thicker around the tube as I had a few of them break before when I overtightened the screw
I'm not gonna say it's better than a pro tattoo machine but it is a cool project to reuse random parts you might have around.
I used motors from the old Braun beard trimmer which seems to be the same size motor in something like an electric toothbrush or Phillips shaver. Usually 20.4mm in diameter with tho sides flattened down.
For power delivery, I used just this standard RCA connector so I can use it with my tattoo power supply and power cord.

For the eccentric wheel, I got these ones:

The grip I have used in the pic is not the best has a plastic thing to hold the cartridge but I had it for like a year and still works sort of okay so in case you are interested here is a link but I'm planning on making a 3d printed one too so that might be coming next as well as stick and poke cartridge pen holder.

And finally, I used a random m3 thumb screw and nut that I had closest to me at the time of making it any m3 screw will do.
If anyone plans on making and using one please make sure you know what you are doing when it comes to tattoo hygiene and aftercare.
