Hello my 3D-Friends,

i have designed a 3d printable Filter Grid with the honeycomb pattern for the Dyson Air Purifiers.

i designed it for my Dyson Pure Cool TP02 Purifier, but it should also fit for the similar models like TP00, TP01 and TP03. You can just measure it out to be sure before printing ;)

• high:          196mm
• diameter:  196mm

I recommend to use silk filament for printing. Also dualcolor or tricolor filaments looks great when its rotating. 

 

I have done 2 types to print. One is thinner and lighter, and the other one is a bit thicker and heavier. I recommend the stronger one, because its easier to print without fails. But if you have a strong part-cooling-fan the thinner one should also work. Its because of the honeycomb pattern, so you have overhangs of 30 degrees. 

 

Print settings:

• Layer high: 0.15mm
• 2-3 perimeters
• 50% infill
• quality mode
• Block seams on the outside
• Supports only for the filter ring
• Use a Brim inside
