Description

I wanted to do a pool table scene with action figures (batman playing pool), however i did not like the downloadable pool tables because of the visible layer lines in the print, so i made a new one from scratch where the layer lines are hidden as much as possible. It is not a remix.
I looked up the dimensions, researched different models and tried to make one that is nice to look at and as close to the real thing as possible. And yes the pool table is playable if you want to.

The sheet is printed in a way that the fuzziness of the sheet is simulated by the effect on the textured print plate.

That is why the sides print separately to also have the fuzziness on the sides too.

The very top layer on the pool table is smooth with ironing setting on, on the top layer.

The biggest challenges to print are the balls and the cues.

A cue is 145mm long and very thin at the top. Also it has often 4 colors (that i reduced to 3) where 2 of them are at the tip (white and blue)

I print them flat with supports and thin layer heights

The balls are also difficult to print, the plain ball with a brim often fails, so i made a small cube around it to hold it in place.

To save time it is best to print the balls one at a time to avoid too many color changes.

I also made 2 types of balls, solid ones and ones with a band.
