End cap & retention ring for "P... Cable Grommet"

This model contains the original model with an additional little cap and a retention ring to avoid the parts splitting apart.

Summary:

Creation of a little cap (underneath) and a retention ring that are press-fitted to avoid that the components un-stack.

Model Description:

While using the original model, the parts always fell apart when my cables would move slightly, so I designed this little press-fitted cap to fix this problem. The whole inner assembly could still leave the outer ring at that point, so a retention ring was also designed to lock everything in place.

2 versions are available: little cap only and cap+retention ring. This is due to the fact that the retention ring adds a groove on top that is visible if not used.

By default, the parts are in one file, but there are zip files with the parts already split as well if needed.

Printing information:

• Split the model to its parts and print them individually
• Print the parts on their flat faces
• No supports are needed, but the small and thin parts can benefit from using brims to increase their bed adhesion.
