Music Instrument Kids Ocarina (Pig) necklace :)

my daughter had a beautiful ocarina made of clay. Unfortunately, this had fallen down and shattered into 1000 pieces :( So since she was very sad I downloaded and printed a simple one. But this one could not be worn as a necklace :D And the versions at Printables that could be worn as a necklace were unfortunately very fragile. Also, all the ocarinas I tested needed some touching up to get the tone to come out reasonably clear :/

So I designed a lot back and forth and after many prototypes (yes I exaggerated a bit :) ) I constructed this easy to reproduce ocarina. Conveniently, I can easily distribute all the prototypes in our kindergarten :)

It comes in 2 versions.

4 holes: Easier for smaller children.
6 holes: Multiple notes to play.

The ring on the rear side serves as an aid to prevent fingers from getting too close to the air outlet so that the sound is not affected.

Skaling:

You can increase or decrease the size of the ocarina! This is easily done in the slicer. But I have also prepared the Versions skaled to 80% and 120% for you.

Tonally I prefer the 120% Ocarina. But for the kids the normal one does the job just fine!

Printing instructions:

I printed it with 0.15 mm per layer in PLA. But the material probably doesn't matter much and the smoother the surface the better! From 100%+ you can also print the models well with the 0.6 mm nozzle.

Avoid a seam around the air outlet and check for good bridgin in that area.

Stringing:

If you have problems with stringing you can use a hairdryer in combination with a zip tie.

Necklace:

You can use any cord/ rope through the eyes of the pig to hang it around your neck :P

And yah the piggies look so somewhat sad :P
