Description

This is a new design of a modular and magnetic wrench holder. The design has identifiers for size, two colors with no prime tower needed and only one filament change, two interlocking dovetails, a 10mm hole for round magnets to secure the wrenches in the holder, and a 6mm x 2.5mm hole on the bottom side for round magnets to secure the organizer to your toolbox. The dovetails are a very tight fit by design, but if you need a bit more clearance you can file down the edges of the male dovetail to allow for a loose fit. The intent of this design is to provide a secure and permanent fit when printed with ASA filament.

Please print the dovetail test print profile first! Change the X-Y contour compensation in global process settings that fits best for you.

These holders will work well with or without magnets. If you are using magnets, insert the 10mm magnets before assembly, with north/south poles facing the same direction on each piece. Press the magnets into place using a similar size punch or hex screwdriver. The magnets can be removed by hooking a pick around them in the recesses provided.

I have tried to include all wrench sizes that would fit in this design. Just drag and drop whatever sizes you need onto the build plate. If you need a different size, go into the object's settings, right click on the text in the menu, and click “Edit Text” to modify the value.

The magnets I used were purchased from Bambu Lab, 10mmx3mm and 6mmx2mm.

6mm: https://us.store.bambulab.com/collections/makers-supply/products/round-magnet?variant=42424856379528

10mm: https://us.store.bambulab.com/collections/makers-supply/products/round-magnet?variant=42424856543368

Do not rotate the parts in any way, Bambu Studio did not play well with any edits to text after rotating the part.

*This design WILL NOT fit with the remix of another design I have posted*
