This is a fully 3D printable case for 2 Nintendo Switch Joycons, and up to 8 game cards. The joycons slot in, then flip 90° so they lie flat. To remove the joycons from the case, press and hold the release button on the back of the joycon, and slide out.
Assembly & Printing Instructions:
If you are printing from the stl files, you need:
- 1x Bottom of Box
- 1x Lid
- 2x Clip and Hinge
- 2x Hole Plug
- 2x Outside Hinge Bolts
- 2x Inside Hinge Bolts
- 1x Clip Final
To Assemble:
- Fit the “Clip and Hinge” parts into the bottom of the box (use the pictures for help if needed), with the openings of the slots facing upwards, towards the front of the box. (The back of the box is where the hinges are)
- At the back of the box, push the “Inside Hinge Bolts” through the two small holes, with the small diameter end facing the back of the box, which will keep the “Clip and Hinge” parts in place. Push in the hole plugs into the same holes so that the “Inside Hinge Bolts” don't fall out.
- Line the “Lid” up with the hinges, and pass the “Outside Hinge Bolts” through the hinges, and use the clip (another part of the “Outside Hinge Bolts” stl) to fix this in place (friction fit)
- Clip the “Clip Final” onto the bar at the front of the “Lid”
Enjoy your Nintendo Switch Controller Case!
