These grocery themed magnets integrate NFC technology to provide a seamless, efficient, and fun way to manage your grocery list. EASY TO PRINT AND SETUP!
Features:
1x hidden NFC tag (link below)
The embedded NFC tag allows you to quickly transfer your grocery list to your smartphone. Simply tap your NFC-enabled device on the magnet, and the item will be automatically added to your preferred grocery list app. NFC tag set up is explained below.
4x 8x3mm hidden magnets (link below)
I designed the magnets to be set inside to prevent them from falling out so children or pets do not get a hold of them.
Printing Instructions:
**There will be two scheduled pauses during this print
The first scheduled pause will be for the NFC tag. Simply remove the adhesive cover and place the tag in the circle with the sticky side facing down so it does not come out during the print. Resume the print.
The second scheduled pause will be for the magnets. Simply place the four 8x3mm magnets in each corner and resume the print.

Requirements
An iPhone with NFC capability (iPhone 7 or later). I do not know how to set it up on Android… If someone has a useful link, drop it in the comments for the Android users. Thank you!
The Shortcuts app installed on your iPhone (usually pre-installed).
An NFC tag.
Steps to Set Up the Shortcut
Prepare Your List:
Open the Reminders app or any other list-making app you prefer. I will be using the Reminders app in my example.
Create a new list for your grocery items if you haven't already.
Create a new Shortcut
Select the ‘+’ in the top-right to create a new Shortcut
Select ‘Add Action’
Search for the Reminders app
Select ‘Open Reminders List’
Choose the new list you created for your grocery items
Search for Reminders again
Select ‘Add New Reminder’
Enter the name of the item you wish to have added to the list (make sure it matches the magnet)
Rename the shortcut (e.g. Add Cereal to Grocery list)
Select Done
Add Automation
Select ‘Automation’ at the bottom of the app
Select ‘+’ in the top-right to create a new Automation
Select ‘NFC’
I prefer to ‘Run Immediately’ without notification
Select ‘Scan’ to scan the NFC tag inside of the magnet. This may take a few seconds… I usually scan the NFC tag with the top of my phone
Name the NFC tag (e.g. Cereal)
Select ‘Next’
Select the Shortcut you just created
Complete! You should now be able to tap the magnet and it will run that shortcut automatically. It may take a few seconds to scan.
Repeat steps 1-3 for each magnet
There are TONS of ways to accomplish this. You can obviously add different shortcuts or actions as you wish once you get comfortable with how it all works.
