Description

This dosing funnel attaches perfecty to my original portafilter from La Pavoni, doesn't fall when upside down, I can hear the click when attaches to the portafilter, very well adjusted for my printer/filament.

I was considering to add magnets, but I only have 3x3 mm, and these ones would not fit well. I would need a larger diameter on the bottom which would make it a bit loose.

Another requirement that I had is that it should fit on the external edges, not inside ruining my puck.

I printed this one in PLA from Tecbears, using a Sovol SV07 Plus, Cura slicer, 205 degrees, 75 degrees bed temperature, no brim, no supports needed but I printed upside down. Other configurations I used: 0.2mm (draft), speed 90 mm/s, acceleration 2000 mm2/s, fan speed 30%, tri-hexagon pattern with 12% infill density. Wall ordering inside to outside, z seam alignment: random.

I also made a video with some of my 3D prints, in Portuguese, with time stamps, where you can see how I'm using them:

PS: I used very low speeds because one or another line was not sticking well and I wanted a good finish, but you may try to increase if your setup allows.

If you are a espresso enthusiast, I invite you to visit my website where I'm building a series of tutorials for dummies: www.espressohackers.com and on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@EspressoHackers

The idea is to make available a high performance espresso machine for the enthusiast at a low cost, but simple enough for anyone to make, not only the DIYers.
