P1 / X1 series - AMS buffer output PTFE guide

Model

I recently got my AMS, and also the firsts problems that comes with it, like the ones related to the buffer.

 

This model was made to make sure the PTFE tube at the output of the buffer remains straight.

 

It will prevent it from applying pressure inside the buffer, and potentially causing problems like the spring getting stuck or other fun things..

 

Printing

Just use the provided 3MF 😊

 

Installation

First, disconnect the connector and the PTFE tube

 

Then insert the guide in the tube like so :

 

 

Clip it on the connector :

 

 

And finally, plug the connector back in place !

 

Once you’ve completed all the steps, your PTFE tube guide is now ready to go!
