Description
Fountain for direct mounting to Intex pool inlet connection. No outside pipe connection means less chance for leaks or loose pipes and also let you cover the pool without problems. Kids love it all around the globe!!!
The performance of the fountain is greatly dependent on the pump type. Small catridge pumps have a low water flow and pressure and will perform much worse than sand filter pumps.
There are multiple variations on the seperate print plates. Print according to your needs.
On the print plates you can find the following:
It is tested for Intex steel frame pools, for both types of connections (large and small), see pictures. I cannot confirm fitment on other brands of pools/nozzles. The outer thread size is around 83mm with 3,5mm pitch.
If you have a nozzle with the outer thread diameter 81mm and pitch of 2,5mm, than print the parts from plate 3, instead of those on plate 2.
Not sutibale for the Intex inflatable pools (Easy set).
Assembly:
First thread the nut onto the extension piece, then tighten the extension piece onto the fountain piece.
UPDATE July 6th, 2025:
Corrected dimension compensation for extender piece.
UPDATE July 3th, 2025:
I added a nut and extender piece for the 81x2,5mm thread that can be found on Bestway and some intex pools.
Added also a fountain with reduced flow (-40%) for low capacity pumps or for far water throw on standard pumps.
UPDATE June 17th, 2025:
After increase in reported failed prints, i checked again with my latest batch of PETG-HF and i can confirm that something changed and the failure rate was quite high, for which i am honestly apoligizing. Now with the updated part, these should be fixed. I also noticed some changes in latest Intex nozzles, so i extended the nut for few mm and lengten the thread. If anyone is experiencing problems with fitment (not enough of thread engaged - nut falling off the nozzle) i recomend printing only the nut and replace it.
Main piece and nut were modified, basic functionality is the same (same water flow).

DISCLAIMER:
I printed those fountains successfully in Bambu PLA Basic, Bambu PETG Basic and Bambu PETG-HF without any problems. All the latest prints were done in PETG-HF.
PETG-HF must be properly dried out, otherwise you will experience problems (read forum threads for more info).
