bee water flower feeder

I’ve created this bee water feeder to offer a pleasant spot for bees to drink/gather water. Bee feeders also allow biology students to observe bee behavior and pollination, understand ecosystem roles and biodiversity, and explore differences in sensory biology.
My granddad is a beekeeper and he loves it!

You can use a mason jar as the water container, or any other bottle or glass with outer diameter up to 87mm.

I chose to make this design without any thread to make it more universal. You can see I used a beer glass without any problems.

Filament colour: The best color for a bee water feeder would be blue or violet. These colors are highly visible to bees because they fall within the range of the spectrum that bees can see well. White or yellow can also be effective, as these colors are commonly associated with flowers that attract bees.

NOTE: Avoid using PLA for printing if the feeder will be exposed to direct sunlight, as PLA can warp from the heat.

The model requires no supports or brim.
