Remix of mareklew's towel hanger. Uses paracord or similar to make the whole thing one piece to reduce chocking hazards, and modified geometry works with thicker towels more easily.
Also designed a flexible wall hanger that attaches with a small command strip and makes it easy to take on and off. PLA will work, but for best durability, print this piece separately in PETG.
Instructions
- Cut off a 9in (23cm) length of paracord/rope/etc
- Pass one end through the center piece and tie a knot in the very end. Make sure the knot is big enough to prevent the cord from being pulled back out.
- Pass the other end of the cord through the small hole in the main piece and tie a similar knot.
- (Optional) Use a lighter to melt the ends of the paracord a bit to prevent fraying
- Attach the wall hanger to a flat surface with a size “small” command strip.
See the pictures for a visual walkthrough of how to attach everything.
Modifications
- Added a 7mm diameter hole through the middle of the center piece
- Added a 7mm diameter loop/ring on the side of the main piece.
- Increased the length of the center piece by a few mm so it works easier with thick towels.
- Designed flexible wall hanger
