Description
I was looking for a storage option for several filament spools and the use of 28mm "wooden dowel". Other holders were too thin or not stable enough, so I designed my own one.
With a length of over 1.2m, I would also place another bracket in the center (as in the pictures). There are no Endcaps, as the Spoolholder itself will hold everything in place.
As the drywall is not very sturdy at my side, I enlarged the support surface with the pieces of wood, but this is not necessary!
I've printed the holder in PETG from Overture, but the finish isn't that nice, so I would recommend to use Bambu PETG HF or better PETG CF
You just need two 28mm wooden dowel in your preferred lengths and two 5x60 Spax Universalscrews (Including “Fischer Duo”) to make it nice and study.
The space between the screws is 110mm and hole inner-diameter is 5mm. Full size is 150mmx25mm
A Drill-Template is not necessary as you could use the holder itself to mark the holes, but I have done a template anyway in the Document section, just print it non scaled on a A4 and double confirm the measurements on the side.
