Spool Spacer (Bambu Lab Reusable Spools)

Recently I received a few spools that had a gap on the edge of the roll. This was causing my AMS to bind up and, more times than not, throw an error code and pause the print. I had to remedy it to save myself more headache. This spacer worked perfectly on my problematic rolls. ZERO issues with binding on previously unusable spools. Print profile is set up for zero top and bottom layers (honeycomb infill) but feel free to download the raw files if you prefer a different infill pattern or simply want it solid. I have also included the raw STEP file in case 2mm thickness isn't the right size for the gap you are trying to eliminate. For me, 2mm worked. Seemed like a good starting point.

Use with Bambu Lab Reusable Spools

I have also started using these on my Polyterra spools that I switch to Bambu Lab spools (ripping the carboard off the sides, leaving nothing but the core, and placing on the Bambu spool) This along with my core adapter (or an old cardboard core from a Bambu Spool) has made my Poly spools perform exceptionally well. Much better than any rings I have tried as those tend to consistently rub on the alignment guides of the AMS due to size constants when adding the ring. Link below for the spool adapter
