Description
This is a quick variant of the Cell Spool Winder that answers a few repeated requests:
- No voronisation for the base.
- Split base that can be printed as separate halves on smaller hot plates.
- Wide spools (80mm+) to be installed as donors.
The split base and the longer donor shaft need to be printed / reprinted if any of the above points seems interesting for you. Only these three parts are included in this publication! All the rest - axes, gears, feet, reader, clips are identical with the ones from:

Three parts printed, the rest moved from the Cell winder, 80mm spool re-spooled on the split base winder.

Edit 23.11.24 - I have received a few comments about the two halves of the base not coupling in a “blocked” position once assembled.
The colleague SouthernWolff has proposed a simple coupling designed to use the existing holes in the two bases and I agreed this is a good solution, thanks again! Model printed, tested, works OK. As the bases have slightly different thickness please place the coupling with the arrow aligned with the movement of the filament while re-spooling. I placed the coupling in a final position in one base and I gave it a light hit - it jumped to the assembled position, fixed. I pushed the larger flaps and I could disengage it.
Finally, a great assembly & first use video, made by the colleague @CnHCreations - thanks Tina again!
