Based on the amazing Gridfinity system by Zack Freedman and the Kitchen Collection by JonathanLevi, this is the most efficient way to organizer your kitchen drawers. These organizers maximize space by taking full advantage of the height of the drawers and ensuring each bin is the best fit for whatever utensil or cooking tool you're storing with minimal wasted space.

 

The Kitchen Collection was used as a base and multiple pieces were merged together to create specific size bins. The X1s and P1s can print up to a 6 grid bin so instead of having separate end caps and a blank I merged them into one solid bin. This makes pulling them out much easier for cleaning and reorganizing.

 

Here's what I did:

1. I used the Gridfinity Superlight Baseplates by KYZ Design. Each grid is 42mmx42mm so you'll need to figure out what plates you need to print to best fit your particular drawer size.
2. To fill the gaps and ensure the grid doesn't move I used the Gridfinity Clip Base by HuMa. The project has files of every size from 3mm up to 41mm to fill any gaps that you have. Might take some trial and error to get a snug fit.
3. Choose the bins that fit your application. If the exact size doesn't exist you can combine a couple of end caps with a blank to make the desired size. If you're looking for a full box I used the Ultimate Gridfinity Bins Collection + Parametric by ABDELat. Special thanks to ABDELat who made a special customization for me.
   1. Click on the link above and then click on the Customize button
   2. Select “Parametric Gridfinity Kitchen Editi…”
   3. Set your gridx and gridy to your desired size
   4. Click "Generate"

*** Requirement: Drawers must have at least 70mm of clearance for these bins to fit. My drawers are 68mm deep but there was enough clearance above the drawer to fit.
