Description

This is a remix of the excellent LTS.Design Respooler (Version 2 / current version https://makerworld.com/en/models/448008?from=search#profileId-354782 ). I found that I was having slippage on the main drive belt and beefed up the motor mount and subsequently the base as well (simply - I printed them 100% infill / solid). This pretty much solved the problem, but I then noticed a couple of remixes for Version 1 of the LTS.Design Respooler (for Version 1 only) and thought this seemed a good idea to add to the model just for good measure. After installing this replacement dual idler frame I am quite confident that my drive belt slipping problem is solved. I likely overkilled it really :) ! I tried to stick to the original LTS Design (chamfer sizes, fillet radii etc.) as I think it looks really good and didn't want to take away from the great base model.

Please note that in this case, I used IvIast3r's excellent remix with an alternative drive system https://makerworld.com/en/models/553484?from=search (the end result can be seen in the attached photographs).

Fortunately I was able to use LTS.Design's original build files (Version 2 / latest version) on which to build the new dual idler frame. It is designed to fit the lvlast3r remix cited above, but looks like it should also work with the LTS.Design V2 as well. In the event it doesn't I have also included a Bambu Studio file that has the slot for the new idler includes as a body (Body2) that can be repositioned on the Z axis if necessary. You can then just cut the new idler slot out of the brace member on which it is located and print.

The print file I included also includes the extra slider and washers needed for the additional idler and one additional washer that I found helpful in reducing rubbing by the main “LTS RESPOOLER” gearwheel on the frame.

You will also need a bit of hardware for this model:

1 x GT2 Pulley

1 x M3x6 Cap Bolt

2 x M3x10 Cap Bolts

2 x M3 Hex Nuts
