Description

The great idea of the dry brush add-on for The Army Painter palette got my attention - since i was not satisfied with the provided models, i came up with my own solution.

There is some headspace under the lid of the palette, which is intended for the brushes - the existing models out there are basically flat at the bottom or give not enough headroom, so when your palette is full of brushes, you can't properly close it - my design solves this and respects the original headroom, so you can still fit in larger brushes in the brush tray

i've also provided some blanks for those out there that just glue on some random leftovers from their models or want to glue in some materials like sand, cork, felt, leather etc. to have their own textures.

Printing

i'm aware that the design requires supports - the underside does not need to be that pretty, just set your pattern spacing to about 5 mm and your top interface to about 1 mm - this does not cost much extra filament but does the trick

Changelog

2023-11-09 v21:

  • initial release with some basic patterns and 2 blank variants
