Description
A modern tea light holder with a spiral pattern.
I tested it with a real candle, but I strongly recommend using an electric tea light! If you want to use it with a real tea light, do at your own risk and print it using a flame-retardant filament.
This is a rather delicate print. For best results, make sure to print slow (less than 100mm/s at top) and make sure seams are not on overhangs. I added a profile which decreases speed with height and manually placed seams on the right corners. If you print a glossy filament, you might want to print with slow speeds from the start to get an even surface finish.
Tested with Bambu Lab Matte PLA (Black). Other filaments might require even lower speeds for a good result. If you run into problems, you can set your printer into “Silent” mode to print even slower.
If this is too large for you, check out my Mini Spiral Tea Light Holder!
Some people had issues printing this, so I added a profile with even slower printing speed. For best results, make sure to not print too hot, and cooling is sufficient (leave door open on enclosed printers).
