Description
There are some really awesome NAS projects out there but most of them were pretty complicated to print and the makers weren't interested in making a few tweaks in the interest of printability so I created this very simple but effective PiNas cooler.
The project is based around a Raspberry Pi 5 and The Raxda Penta Sata Hat.
I used a simple 40x20mm (40x10mm works just as well) USB fan for the cooler so no auxiliary power supply is needed.
I saw approximately a 15C/59F Degree reduction in temperature with the fan set to the lowest RPM setting. (before/after pictures attached above)

Some hardware is needed
8x - M3x8mm (mounting the fan mount to the drives)
4x - M3x16mm (for 40x10mm fan mounting)
4x - M3x25mm (for 40x20mm fan mounting)
12x - M3 Washers (not needed I just prefer the look)
4x - M2.5x14mm (for mounting base plate to Raspi)
4x - M3 Heat Press Inserts (for fan bracket) - https://a.co/d/fXYi6e3
