Description

The Ikea Kallax series offers an extraordinary amount of storage space. Unfortunately, there is no option for installing a clothes rail. Therefore, I have designed brackets that can be attached to the Kallax with screws.

What you need for a clothes rail:

Printing

  • 2x Cover
  • 1x Bracket
  • 1x Bracket (mirrored)

Hardware store

  • 1x Round wood (diameter 22mm, length 32.5cm)
  • 4x M5 20mm hex socket screws
  • 4x M5 nuts

For each additional clothes rail, you will need everything listed above, except for the 2x covers.

I have positioned the holes for mounting centrally to the depth of the Kallax compartment (approximately 19.25cm). The center of the upper hole is 4.5cm from the top of the compartment. I marked the lower hole after fastening the bracket in the upper hole.

  • Drucken
    • 2x Blende
    • 1x Halter
    • 1x Halter (gespiegelt)
  • Baumarkt
    • 1x Rundholz (Durchmesser 22mm, Länge 32,5cm)
    • 4x M5 20mm Innensechkant
    • 4x M5 Mutter
