Description

A very simple and effective piece of equipment that will make your wrists scream!

I made it using all recycled materials I already had at home (like an old broomstick, Velcro strap, etc.).

It’s very easy to assemble and durable. You won’t need any special filament, and 2 to 4 kg of weight will make you cry after just 3 reps :)

For detailed exercises, just search "wrist roller exercise" on YouTube, and you'll find a lot of great tutorials. But if you’re on this page, I’m sure you’re already familiar with this piece of equipment :)

New Update!

I’ve uploaded a new version with a 30mm dowel profile for a better grip!

Assembly Instructions:

Cutting the Wood Stick:

  • Cut the wooden stick into two pieces: one 40 cm long and the other 15 cm long.

Finishing Touches:

  • Feel free to apply a finish to the wood or wrap it with a nice strap (like those used for racing bikes or tennis rackets).

Grip:

  • Insert the webbing strap into the printed part and make sure it reaches the end. (You might need to apply some heat to prevent the strap from fraying.)
  • Insert this piece into the center of the 40 cm wooden stick and screw in the two screws.

Weights Attachment:

  • Drill a hole near the end of the 15 cm piece.
  • Insert the other printed part into the end of the 15 cm stick and screw in the three screws.
  • Insert the Velcro into the hole and close it in a loop.

Cutting the strap:

  • Test the length of the strap. I recommend keeping it a bit longer, as the hook will help you adjust it properly later.

Attaching the Weight:

  • Now insert the plate, pass the other end of the strap through the hook using the Velcro, and adjust the length of the strap with the hook!

You’re ready to go!

You can also use other types of weights or feel free to attach them with a simple piece of rope!

Tools and Materials:

  • 5 screws M3*15
  • Woodstick diameter 23mm(I used a broom)  or 30mm (using a 30mm woodstick, could need a little of sandpaper work to fit)
  • Webbing strap (22mm wide, 2mm thick)
  • Velcro strap
  • PLA filament

Tools:

  • Wood saw
  • Screwdriver
  • Drill machine
