Description
This is a complicated approach to a simple problem; meaning that I WAY overengineered this coat hanger.
I designed this and printed many of them for most of the department at my previous job. It's incredibly strong; I could literally hang on it! The way it snaps into place is super satisfying too.
Hooks have claws to grip jackets that are missing the hanger loop:
Triple spine minimizes material while making it stiff and springy:
Designed with sweeping gussets to eliminate the need for support material:
Cap lip fingers on each side to grip under cubicle cap:
Coped to contour: (GIF also shows cap lip fingers)
Groove lock - Locks into groove at cubicle wall end: (versions with and without groove lock are available)
No supports needed.
Plate 1: “Laterally Repositionable” __ Hangers on BOTH sides of cubicle wall - It clips on and can be repositioned side to side.
Plate 2: “Laterally Repositionable - HALF” __ Hangers on ONE side of cubicle wall - It clips on and can be repositioned side to side.
Plate 3: “Locked in Groove” __ Hangers on BOTH sides of cubicle wall - Locks into groove at the end of the cubicle wall.
Plate 4: “Locked in Groove - HALF” __ Hangers on ONE side of cubicle wall - Locks into groove at the end of the cubicle wall.
ENJOY!
