This automatic watering system is designed to fit standard water bottles, drawing inspiration from the “Automatic Bottle Watering Drip Irrigation System”. Redesigned from scratch, this model provides enhanced functionality, durability, and adaptability for various bottle sizes, making it ideal for easy, drip-irrigation watering of plants.

- Tap thread: Optimized for 3D printing.
- Bottle thread: Adapted to fit commonly used bottles in Spain.
Contents of the file:
- Plate 1 / 30 mm diameter: Compatible with brands like Bronchales, Aquabona, Bezoya, and other bottles with the same thread size (ø30 mm, 2 mm pitch, 3-start thread).
- Plate 2 / 38 mm diameter: Compatible with Solán de Cabras bottles. (ø38 mm, 3 mm pitch, 3-start thread)
- Plate 3 / 28mm diameter: Compatible with Aguas de Teror, Coca-Cola PET bottles, etc. (ø27,4 mm, 3 mm pitch, 1-start thread)
- Plate 4 / 30 mm diameter: Compatible with Cabreiró bottles. (ø30 mm, 3 mm pitch, 3-start thread)
- Plate 5 / Test rings: Rings with all previous thread sizes to test on your bottle before starting the full print.
Recommended printing settings:
- 0.16 High quality profile
- Seam position: random
- Others / Reduce infill retractions: disabled
Final Considerations:
- It is necessary to screw and unscrew the tap several times to smooth out the thread. It helps if, each time, you take the opportunity to clean any debris that may have accumulated in the thread grooves.
- You should make a hole in the bottle, no larger than ø3 mm, to prevent a vacuum from forming inside and to ensure proper dripping. You may also consider cutting off the bottom of the bottle completely, allowing you to refill it without removing the adapter.
