Sig-Fig / Minifigure Travel Case

Inspired by many other box designs and in need of a travel case to fit my Sig-Fig and accessories, i designed this box.

It's the first one of a series of boxes I am designing to use with common interlocking bricks.

The System

Its designed that way, so a 3x4 Plate Special with 1 x 4 Center Studs (#17836) can fit in the side wall or in combination with a 4x4 Plate in the box bottom. The plate should fit without to much force inside.

Printing

Print it in any material you like, PLA is good enough. If you like it more “original” go for ABS ;)

No support or brim needed. Just print in place. For a better result use the "Silent Mode".

I`ve made 2 Versions.

• thight fit: works with a stock X1C in regular speed mode with no special/extra settings. Maybe the first time you have to loosen the parts manually. This version has a small nose to prevent it from falling back more then 180°
   
• loose fit: print in place and ready to go. should work with any printer.

Be creative

Like the bicks, be creative and use the box as you like. Print it in any color, add your logo, build something small inside. Share your creations!
