Sports Ball Wall Mount two types

These are two wall mounted holders for sports balls. Pictured with a size 5 soccer ball but it will fit most types of sports balls up to and including a full size basketball. It also fits an American Football. I used 3 wall loops and 15% infill. No supports needed, works in PLA but PETG or ASA would be preferred for hot or sunny environments.

Trophy Version:

This holder can mount using its keyhole hanger on one screw, size #6 or similar (Head under 7mm and threads under 4mm width). The screw depth should be adjusted just far enough from the wall to create a friction fit on the keyhole so it doesn't rotate (you can start with about 2mm and tighten from there). I like to set it a slightly snug, and then rotate the mount itself one full turn clockwise to lock the screw in tight.

If that is not effective enough for you to keep it from rotating, you can put an optional second screw in the wall below the first one at a distance between 19mm and 25mm (¾" and 1"). The lower screw can be driven all the way to the wall, as it is received by a slot instead of a keyhole to keep the mounting as easy as possible.

Hanging Version:

This version has a more organic design vs the industrial design of the original. It is slightly smaller, and self levels when a ball is on it so the mounting may be slightly more simple. It is mostly hidden when the ball is on it.

Open license with attribution, sell them if you like but don't take off the watermark or else it might not work anymore. ;D
